She confronts challenges by first asking, “What do our customers value?” Before diving into solutions, she ensures everyone is aligned on the problem, fostering a culture of collaboration, creative thinking and speed. Valérie is a firm believer in learning by doing, exploring new possibilities and pivoting when needed. Her career has spanned over 20 years at GE before coming to Cytiva. She drove growth and led significant strategic business transformations, including the recent turnaround of the Steam business to become a strategic and financial asset within GE Vernova. She also gained profound professional experience at Thales, a French aeronautics company, where she discovered her passion for innovation, manufacturing, and team spirit. Valérie’s life is a blend of professional excellence and personal fulfillment. Living in Switzerland, she loves spending time with her family, her husband and their three children. In her free time, she likes exploring the beautiful Alps which she finds grounding and refreshing.
