Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer
In his role, John Dion is responsible for three main areas: Cytiva’s transition as a standalone company in the Danaher Corporation, activation and deployment of the Danaher Business System (DBS), and the company’s Real Estate strategy.
John is accustomed to tackling major issues with cross-functional dependencies. On the flip side of those dependencies are results, and that’s what drives John. Among his peers and his teams, he is known for furthering process improvement and continuously improving operations management. From February 2019 to April 2020, John served as Danaher’s transition lead as Danaher acquired the part of GE Healthcare Life Sciences that is now Cytiva. John joined the Danaher Corporation 23 years ago and has held leadership roles in seven current and prior Operating Companies. He led the transition of Pall and supported transitions at Beckman Coulter.
He started his career as an Engineer and Plant Manager at the United Technologies Corporation.
John earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering as well as a Master’s of Business Administration at the University of Connecticut.
