Vice President Information Technology
Michael (Mikey) Santiago believes that his most important duty is to the next generation of IT professionals. To that end, he spends at least one day every month visiting schools and mentoring students.
On a more daily basis, Mikey provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the overall Information Technology organization at Cytiva, ensuring that the company meets its growth and business objectives.
Mikey’s team is focused on delivering IT solutions to support the changing needs of the business, while also providing examples of best practices in the IT ecosystem. At the foundation of all of the above, Mikey and team ensure excellence in corporate cybersecurity, compliance and data privacy standards. Before coming to Cytiva, Mikey has spent ten years in several technology leadership roles in the Danaher Corporation, including serving as Chief Information Officer for Beckman Coulter.
Before joining Danaher, Mike was at Xerox Corporation where he held several leadership roles most recently as the Director of Research & Technology leading the global Color Science, Workflow, and Algorithms teams.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and an MBA from USC. In his spare time, Mikey is a year-round athlete: when sunny, you can find him on the tennis courts or hiking trails, and in winter he’ll head out to any ski resort with fresh powder.
