This April, let’s work together to clean oceans and reduce poverty!
In 2020, we collaborated with Plastic Bank to remove and recycle 25 metric tons of ocean-bound plastic — thanks to your help!
In celebration of Earth Month, we’re happy to share that we will continue this effort in 2021. Join us this April as we again partner with Plastic Bank and aim to remove and recycle 30 metric tons of ocean-bound plastic.
Recycle 500,000 syringe filters in 2021
Help us recycle 500,000 syringe filters: We’ve been working with international recycling leader, TerraCycle, to figure out how to recycle syringe filters — an industry first. Is your lab eligible to participate in our pilot program?
A proud donor to seeding labs
Since 2016, Cytiva has partnered with Seeding Labs through its ‘Giving Back to the Science Community’ initiative. To date, we have donated over $250,000 in refurbished lab equipment to scientific researchers, engaging with nineteen universities in ten countries. This equipment has helped enable researchers to perform West Africa’s first large-scale study of antibiotic residues in drinking water, fight the rapid spread of Lyme disease among forestry workers in Ukraine, and develop easier ways to administer life-saving antimalarial medicines to children in Ghana.
Testa Center: Owned and operated as a not-for-profit, Testa Center is an initiative between the Swedish government and Cytiva to secure the growth of the life-science industry and its manufacturing capabilities. Its main objective is to bridge the gap from discovery to industrialization. Every year, it launches the Testa Challenge, inviting start-up solutions within in life sciences and bioprocessing to a week of collaboration on technology innovation.
