Partnering to drive societal and environmental impacts

To spur game-changing research that will improve healthcare, we support and fund the scientists of today and tomorrow. To reduce climate impacts, we collaborate to increase biodiversity, reduce greenhouse gases, and recycle plastics.

Highlights:

BCRF – raised awareness and funds through our breast cancer research campaign by donating $402 502, which translates into approximately 8050 hours of research
BSCP – funded scholarships and mentored under-represented students to help them emerge in the life science industry

Partnerships to impact people and environment

Fueling social innovation

Social innovation is about creating new ideas or solutions that benefit people – by meeting their needs, creating relationships, or forming new collaborations. To foster social innovation, drive research to market, and support research communities, we are active in:

Testa Center – a not-for-profit, public-private joint venture to promote growth of the life sciences industry
Think Big – an accelerator platform to help Chinese start-ups build and market their technology by connecting with local bioparks and venture capital experts
Seeding Labs – a nonprofit that distributed more than 400 000 USD of Cytiva’s funds and refurbished lab equipment to researchers at 19 universities in 10 countries
