Our environmental management system has received ISO 14001:2015 certification. Learn more about this internationally recognized certificate and how it reinforces the commitment we have in place to reduce our environmental impact.
Cytiva is pleased to announce the certification of our environmental management system to the ISO 14001: 2015 standard. This internationally recognized certificate reinforces the commitment we have in place to reduce our environmental impact.
Working to this standard is helping us consider all environmental issues relevant to our operations, such as air pollution, waste water, waste management, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and resource use and efficiency.
Mary Blenn, VP of global supply chain says, “Where we are today in terms of our environmental system standards is the result of many years of hard work and effort led by our global EHS team and delivered on sites. While we still have some way to go, we are stepping up to the challenge in relation to sustainability. ”
The ISO 14001:2015 certificate (CERT-10413914) took effect December 14, 2021, after a multi-month audit with LRQA, a leading global management systems certification body. The image above shows our local EHS teams at Umeå and Tonglu sites after completing their ISO 14001 audits. The certificate encompasses all the company’s manufacturing operations. It includes the need for continual improvement of an organization’s systems and environmental performance. Cytiva will continue to engage in corporate social responsibility activities including environmental protection.
