Q and A from 2nd AKTA club web chat

By Marianne Carlsson, Product Specialist, protein purification at GE

During a live web chat on March 8, GE experts answered questions about protein purification and ÄKTA lab-scale systems. What did attendees chat about with our R&D experts? Find out here.

Do you have recurring discussions in your lab that you need input on? Or do you need support to get on with your protein purification? Around 40 protein purifiers joined our latest ÄKTA club web chat to get answers to their questions. You can find the questions and answers in this interactive PDF. It includes answers given during the web chat and answers to other questions that we did not have time to provide during the one-hour session.

As a moderator for the web chat I passed questions to five experts from GE R&D and scientific support – Lena Nyholm, Tuomo Frigård, Lars Andersson, Jon Lundqvist, and Dominique Dutaud. It was enjoyable to see the interaction and great experience sharing between the experts and ÄKTA system users spread across different countries and continents. The questions were about the use of ÄKTA systems and the UNICORN software, as well as about applications. In the figure you can see an example of a question related to ion exchange chromatography.
