Water immersion objectives and EDGE confocal microscopy come together to enhance cell visualization. Water immersion objectives minimize spherical aberration, allowing you to go deeper into a sample with better signal-to-noise ratios. EDGE removes out-of-focus light to improve contrast and resolution in all three dimensions, with a two-fold resolution increase in z.
Efficient imaging with reduced scan times and less data
Our EDGE confocal technology delivers quality images faster than the standard spinning disc method. The IN Cell Analyzer 6500HS also includes a SmartScan toolkit to map the location of 3D cell culture samples. High magnification images are then captured only in needed regions of interest, saving time and reducing data volume.
Volumetric segmentation and quantitation for true 3D analysis
The IN Carta VoluMetrics module delivers high-content screening and quantitative image analysis in 3D. Unlike methods that stack many 2D images, measurement with VoluMetrics algorithms includes evaluation along the z plane from which cell characteristics and surroundings are defined–a true 3D analysis of your sample.
