Cytiva awarded additional funding through modification to its Technology Investment Agreement with the Department of Defense to support further expansion of the Logan, Utah facility

Cytiva has been awarded a USD 147.6 million contract from the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND), in coordination with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), part of the office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, to expand the company’s manufacturing capacity at its Logan, Utah facility. Cytiva will increase capacity for manufacturing cell culture liquid media, buffers and cell culture powder media, and single-use consumables.
