Cytiva enters into Co-Operative Agreement with Department of Defense to support expansion of US manufacturing capacity

By Cytiva

Cytiva has been awarded a USD 328 million contract from the Department of Defense, in coordination with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), to support expansion of its chromatography manufacturing operations to the United States. As one of the main suppliers to companies developing COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutic products, expanding capacity in the United States will allow Cytiva to better respond to customer demand. The location of the manufacturing site will be announced at a later date.

The contract is funded by the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), part of the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, through the American Rescue Plan Act. For more information about resins click here.
