Interlocks are hardcoded values where the system will shut off (agitator, pump control loop and temperature control loop) specifically when exceeding maximum or minimum or no weight. Alarms are configurable on the HMI where the values are subjective to your application and are managed by the user with HMI admin rights. Interlocks and alarms are available only on XDUO.

It takes about 10 minutes for one person to remove the bag from the primary package to complete installation, our system doesn’t require any time to charge, it’s a true plug and play.

The XDM (Xcellerex Disposable Mixer) comes in multiple configuration (Poly propylene, single walled stainless steel, jacketed stainless steel) and can mix a wide range of applications, but it lacks the automation piece which XDUO (Xcellerex Disposable Unit Operation) possess. XDUO is an intelligent plug and play mixer, where titrations and temperature control are automated based on a closed loop control system. Both XDM and XDUO can be configured to meet a wide range of application needs as shown below. They help reduce your capital equipment requirements and maximize your plant efficiency.

The system was design carefully to reduce height, so the vessel is wider instead of longer, and based on CFD models dual impellers are needed to ensure there is homogenous mixing for solids that may precipitate on the corners.

Yes, the XDUO platform has the data monitoring capability, it is a standard for our XDUO2500L and could be customizable for the other scales.

The Xcellerex disposable bioreactor bag assembly (XDA) is an essential part of the process. The mixer bag is manufactured from a USP class VI-compliant flexible low-density polyethylene film and has a robust design to withstand demanding process conditions. The bag comes with an integrated, bottom mounted magnetically coupled impeller assembly, which connects with the magnetic drive head in the vessel frame.
