UNICORN start 1.1 control software for the ÄKTA start system has been released.

The main changes in UNICORN start 1.1 compared with UNICORN start 1.0 are:

  • Support for Windows® 10 operating system.
  • Corrected display of fractionation marks in the result file imported from ÄKTA start via USB.
  • Updated USB driver.
  • Electronic software distribution (DVD is available as an optional buy).

You do not need a new license file. The previous license file, used for UNICORN start 1.0, will also work for UNICORN start 1.1.The software is available on GE Healthcare Lifesciences eDelivery portal. Gain access to download this software on the portal by placing an order for UNICORN start 1.1 ESD Only (29237223).
