SPR software and extensions

Biacore™ SPR instruments enable characterization of potential binders to protein targets at high throughput. Biacore Intelligent Analysis™ (BIA) — an SPR machine-learning software extension of Biacore™ Insight Software , enables the consistent and automated analysis of large data sets by significantly reducing the manual and time-consuming steps of data curation and quality control. This optional, add-on software extension offers support for two analysis types, Binding level screen and Affinity screen from Biacore T200, Biacore S200, Biacore 8 series, and Biacore 1 series SPR systems. Biacore Intelligent Analysis software comes with prediction models, pretrained by Cytiva’s scientists. The prediction models provide a ready-to-go solution for analysis of binding level and affinity screening data. They consistently provide greater than 90% accuracy as opposed to human expert analysis, with excellent sensitivity (> 87%) and specificity (> 90%). Biacore™ Insight Concentration and Potency Extension provides concentration analysis, parallel line analysis (PLA), and EC50 evaluation to Biacore™ Insight Software.

Biacore™ Insight Data Integration Extension provides access to advanced export capabilities and the potential to fully integrate your Biacore surface plasmon resonance (SPR) data. With this extension you can manually export in machine-readable JSON or XML formatted data from Biacore Insight Evaluation software. The newly added Biacore Insight application programming interface (API) allows you to fully automate data export and integration into your scientific data or lab information management system or other software solutions. This enables the unhindered use of your Biacore SPR data for downstream evaluation, aggregation with other technologies, automated report creation, and using the data for AI training. Biacore Insight Data Integration Extension enables streamlined transfer of SPR data between instruments and laboratories.

Biacore™ Insight Epitope Binning Extension provides run setup and data analysis in epitope binning of antibodies. For use with Biacore™ 8K+, Biacore™ 8K, Biacore™ T200, and Biacore™ S200 SPR systems.

Biacore™ Insight Extended Screening Extension contains a variety of features, that help shorten time to results for the entire SPR workflow in fragment-based drug discovery and biologics screening for Biacore™ T200, Biacore™ S200, Biacore™ 8 series and Biacore™ 1 series SPR systems .

Biacore™ Insight GxP Extension allows Biacore™ 1 series and Biacore™ 8 series SPR systems to integrate seamlessly into GxP-regulated workflows. The software extension provides validated software supporting GLP/GCP/GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. The software has been developed in accordance with an accepted development model to ensure adequate validation.
