Use normalization when protein expression levels might vary between samples. Apply these options to host cells expressing recombinant protein or to analyze different subcellular fractions. Fully exploit your experimental design information
Melanie‘s experimental design wizard helps you describe common one- and two-factor designs and assign images to a factor level. Then, use the design structure throughout analysis to propose specific alignment strategies, image display layouts, and appropriate statistical tests and data analysis tools. Principal component analysis (PCA) is supported.
Apply efficient alignment strategies
Melanie enables increased alignment efficiency and minimizes match editing work by defining an appropriate alignment strategy. This avoids aligning all images to a single reference that might be quite dissimilar to many gels in the data set and would generate an unnecessarily large number of difficult alignments.
