Overview
The LevMixer™ and magnetic mixer tanks are designed with automation and cleanability in mind. With scaling from 50 to 1600 L, these tanks can be used through your process. The built-in electrical cabinet with HMI screen and data management allows for onboard or remote automation control via ethernet, in tank sizes from 50 to 1600 L. The tank hardware has been engineered for use with other single-use systems (SUS), in current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) certified cleanrooms.
LevMixer™ system gen V
- The LevMixer™ system gen V is automation-ready, with data tracking, including an audit trail for 21 CFR Part 11 enablement and ethernet connectivity.
- An integrated control cabinet minimizes the tank's footprint. The cabinet contains the electrical connections for reusable pH and conductivity sensing probes, temperature sensors, weight via load cells, and communication ports to extract and log data for process monitoring requirements.
- Scalable mixing is possible within the unit and platform, with working volumes ranging from 16 to 1600 L in seven tank sizes ranging from 50 to 1600 L nominal capacity.
- The interchangeable LevMixer™ drive unit gen V is backward compatible with previous LevMixer™ and magnetic mixer tank generations.
- The tank and drive unit are designed with cleanability in mind – smoother, more curved frames, with fewer crevices, and hygienically designed load cells.
- The LevMixer™ and magnetic mixer tanks gen V have a full thermal jacket (sidewalls and bottom) to control heating and cooling at all volumes.
- American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) certification is available for North American customers.
- The LevMixer™ system utilizes disposable mixing biocontainers made from Allegro™ film. It is animal-derived component-free (ADCF) and complies fully with USP Class VI requirements. All generations of LevMixer™ single-use biocontainers (for cubical tanks) can also be used with the LevMixer™ drive unit gen V and the LevMixer and magnetic mixer tanks gen V.
