Normalization made easy
IQTL includes multiple normalization options to meet your needs for both single and multichannel images.
- Single band normalization: Normalizes all bands against a single chosen reference band.
- Total protein normalization: Uses the total lane volume of all bands in the lane of a selected reference channel to normalize the bands in the same lane of other channels. For multiplex images.
- Housekeeping protein normalization: Identifies the largest band in the reference channel as the housekeeping band, then normalizes each lane against the housekeeping band as reference. For multiplex images.
- In-channel normalization: Calculates relative volume of bands to the volume of a reference band or user-selected reference lane.
Comparison feature: Generate robust data on lane similarity
- The Comparison function analyzes and determines lane similarity using mathematical modeling.
- We designed the comparison feature to analyze lanes and determine their similarity to generate even more robust data.
- Use the compare function to:
- Compare purified samples of biopharmaceuticals to reference samples.
- Determine sample purity of in batch release of drugs.
- Select a specific fraction from a chromatography run by comparing lanes of different fractions to each other.
- Identify any artifacts or odd spikes in lanes.
- Perform gel shift assays and DNA fragment analysis.
- Analyze complex samples like cell lysates.
