The column package allows you to combine affinity with size exclusion chromatography to achieve very high purity of human IgG.
- Contains columns suitable for a successful 2-step protocol of human antibodies: HiTrap MabSelect PrismA (1 × 1 mL) and HiPrep 16/60 Sephacryl S-300 HR.
- Includes instruction with guidance and tips to help you quickly get started.
- HiTrap MabSelect PrismA column is prepacked with MabSelect PrismA resin for preparative purification of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies from serum and cell culture supernatant, providing excellent purity in one step.
- You obtain final high purity with the HiPrep 16/60 Sephacryl S-300 HR size exclusion column, which removes antibody aggregates and/or fragments.
Protein A affinity chromatography captures your antibody
The kit includes a HiTrap column prepacked with MabSelect PrismA resin containing a protein A-derived ligand produced in E. coli. The ligand has been specially engineered to create an affinity resin with enhanced alkali and protease stability. The specificity of binding to the Fc region of IgG is similar to conventional Protein A and provides you with excellent purification in one step.
High final antibody purity through size exclusion chromatography
HiPrep 16/60 Sephacryl S-300 HR size exclusion chromatography column is prepacked with Sephacryl S-300 HR chromatography resin, which has a broad fractionation range of Mr 10 000 to 1 500 000 for globular proteins. The resin is well-suited for antibody purification and the high sample capacity of the HiPrep column lets you load samples of up to 5 mL.
