Supracap™ 50 depth filter capsules, part of our Pall filtration portfolio, are designed for process development and can be used to quickly and accurately determine which series and grade of depth filter media will provide the best performance.
- Supracap 50 capsules are designed for developing and optimizing a process during scale-up and scale-down studies.
- Quickly and accurately determine which series and grade of depth filter media will provide the best performance as well as the necessary filtration area required to meet process volume.
- Low hold-up volume allows for increased product recovery for sample filtration of 1 to 3 L
- Offers greater flexibility and assurance of application success from development to pilot and production scale.
- Readily scalable to Supracap 100 capsules, SUPRAdisc™ depth filter modules and Stax™ depth filter capsules.

HP-series
Seitz HP-series depth filter sheets are comprised of two distinct layers of Seitz P-series depth filter sheets; a coarser layer upstream followed by a finer layer downstream. These performance-enhanced depth filter sheets have been designed for use in low viability, high solids containing applications. As small shifts in process conditions can cause dramatic differences in filtration requirements, the flexibility of combining any combination of Seitz P-series media in a Seitz HP-series format allows for improved process optimization.
Activated carbon filters
Supracap™ 50 capsules are also available as part of the scalable activated carbon filter range, incorporating Seitz AKS filter media in 9 different grades of carbon.
