Nanoparticle formulation cartridges and flow kits

NanoAssemblr™ Blaze cartridges and tubing kits are validated for single-use, reducing the risk of cross-contamination during process development of LNP formulations. Starting June 2025, customers can purchase the new NxGen™ Blaze cartridges for the NanoAssemblr™ Blaze nanoparticle formulation system and will have the option to reuse them.

The NanoAssemblr™ commercial formulation system flow kit includes the NxGen™ cartridge, pump heads, flow meters, and flow path and can be installed in less than 60 minutes. The flow kit is available as a single-use manufacturing flow kit and a limited, multi-use development flow kit.

The fluid path for the NanoAssemblr™ GMP System includes the NxGen™ cartridge, pre-assembled connective tubing, and pump heads, reducing the risk of cross-contamination between drug products and batches. It is available as a single-use fluid path for GMP manufacturing and a multi-use fluid path for research-use-only (RUO) with either the NxGen™ 400D or NxGen™ 500D cartridge.

Each cartridge is powered by NxGen™ technology, an advanced mixing architecture that integrates toroidal structures within the flow path to rapidly and gently fold two fluids together, enabling controlled and highly reproducible mixing conditions. By using a shared NxGen™ mixer geometry across NanoAssemblr™ systems and scales, critical process parameters (CPPs) can be transferred directly, accelerating development while reducing scale-up risk.

The NanoAssemblr™ Ignite and Ignite+ systems are designed for seamless operation with metal sleeve inserts called heating packages. These metal sleeves, strategically placed around the syringe, ensure optimal thermal contact between the syringe heaters of the system and syringes of varying sizes.

NanoAssemblr™ Spark™ cartridges are equipped with NxGen™ mixing technology for use on the NanoAssemblr™ Spark™ systems for nanoparticle formulation.
