ÄKTA oligopilot plus is a compact, pump-driven system for small-scale synthesis design in two different scale ranges: 10 – 50* μmol and 50 µmol – 9* mmol. It is a flexible, cost-efficient, and fully automated synthesizer employing flow-through synthesis technology. The instruments are designed for research and process development of oligonucleotide synthesis process.

The ÄKTA oligosynt™ oligonucleotide synthesizer is a compact, fully automated oligonucleotide synthesizer built for research and process development laboratories. The system supports a robust and easily scalable oligonucleotide synthesis process and transfer to larger oligonucleotide synthesizers with high yield and quality.

OligoPilot 400 is designed to produce hundreds of grams oligonucleotides for early to mid-clinical trials, covering a range of 4 to 60 mmol. With the speed of coupling, one lot can easily be produced per day. Maintaining well-trained staff, using efficient standard operating procedures (SOPs) and secure supply it can be part of a manufacturing train producing in the range of >50 kg/year. Using shifts the capacity can be multiplied.

Synthesize oligonucleotides at scales of 10–150 mmol for early to mid-phase clinical trials or for diagnostic kits. This robust system has a footprint small enough to fit in a walk-in fume hood. Scale up easily with common UNICORN™ control software.

OligoProcess covers a range of 10 to 1800 mmol and is suitable for quantities required in clinical phases and commercial production. Its broad scale and verified components enable it to produce hundreds of kilos, or even metric tons, of oligonucleotides every year.
