Allen Li

President of Cytiva in China

Allen Li is driven to build business and foster talent in a fast-changing emerging market. He is inspired by the meaning of kaizen, “change for the better,” at the heart of the Danaher Corporation values.

Allen leads Cytiva in China to serve the local biopharma and healthcare industry, and to enable China innovators to reach the global market.

Allen joined Danaher in 2018. Most recently he was the President of Danaher Life Sciences China from 2022 to 2024, having responsibility for business operations of Operating Companies from the Life Sciences Innovation Group, Genomic businesses, and Pall Corporation. He built a cohesive organization that catalyzed collaboration between those companies.

From 2019 to 2022, Allen was the Vice President/General Manager of Pall China, leading a team with seven Business Units. Before that, Allen was the DBS leader for Danaher North Asia (China and South Korea), when Danaher started a more focused effort on providing a more unified way to serve customers in China.

Before Danaher, Allen had multiple regional leadership roles in Eaton Corporation and GE Oil and Gas. He spent 12 years with GE with increasing responsibility in sales and business management.

Allen holds a bachelor’s degree in Material Engineering from Tongji University and an MBA degree from China Europe International Business School.

Having grown up in Inner Mongolia, Allen and his family has been in Shanghai for 30 years. In his spare time, he is an active runner, traveler, and lover of science and history.
