Tim Bervoets

President, Discovery and Medical

Tim Bervoets is passionate about working on Cytiva solutions that are close to patients and seeing the life-changing impact we can have. He is excited to be involved in shaping the future of our Discovery & Medical business.

Tim has extensive experience in life sciences, having held roles at Schleicher & Schuell, Whatman, and GE Healthcare. He has a desire to build businesses, improve processes, and develop people, and he is inspired by the value we at Cytiva bring to our customers every day.

In 2019, after spending 17 years in Research & Discovery, Tim became the Molecular Imaging China GM for GE Healthcare’s regulated Pharmaceutical Diagnostics business. His task was to develop the plan to set up a Molecular Imaging business in China through partnerships and local investments, while building out the team that would eventually implement the plans.

In the middle of 2021, when the plans were in motion and handed over to the local team, and when Tim learned about the formation of the Biotechnology Group at Danaher, he decided to join Cytiva again. He led the Medical business until April 2024, when he was appointed President, Discovery & Medical within Cytiva.

Tim graduated with a master's in chemical engineering, and lives in Belgium with his wife and two sons. He enjoys travelling with his family and playing tennis, padel, and golf.
