In this free online course, you will learn how to prepare and set up the VIA Thaw™ cryogenic thawing instrument.
This instrument was designed to provide an alternative to thawing cell bags and vials in water baths, to help reduce the risks of contamination and improve traceability.
The course includes an instrument overview as well as instructions for: setting it up, establishing a Chronicle™ software connection, creating a profile, completing a thawing run as well as troubleshooting.
It is divided into several short how-to videos, which can be accessed and completed individually. The full course will take you about 10 minutes to complete.
Please note that the virtual demo videos are meant to compliment training by the Field Application Scientist (FAS) team and not to replace it.
Certification
You will get an online certificate after the course completion. You can view and download it in a section My Courses. With Cytiva Certificates, portions of our programs have been split into online modules, so you can earn a high quality knowledge in interactive format.
