Overview
AcroPrep™ Advance Filter Plates for clarification and lysate Clearance, a Pall Life Sciences product, utilize depth filtration that allows effective clarification of most types of particulate laden samples, such as cell lysates, cell supernatants or wastewater samples.
- AcroPrep™ Advance Filter Plates (# 8040, 8075, 8175 and 8275) utilize an integrated prefilter preceeding a microfiltration PES membrane enabling consistent clarification and filtration of samples with high levels of gross particulate.
- 30-40 µm PP/PE non-woven media enables effective cell straining, removing cell clumps prior to flow cytometry analysis
- Well geometry results in faster, more uniform filtration rates across the plate with reduced hold-up volume.
- Innovative outlet tip geometry provides direct flow of samples into receiver plate without concerns of cross-contamination.
- Manufactured with biologically inert materials that allow clarification of most types of lysates without loss of target molecules
- AcroPrep™ Advance is the next generation of AcroPrep™ filter plates, engineered with an improved well design and optimised outlet geometry to maximise sample recovery and reduce cross‑contamination. The AcroPrep™ product remains available and is best suited for established and validated workflows, where process consistency is critical.
