Customized Chromatography Columns

BioProcess LPLC columns are dynamic axial compression columns with variable bed heights. They are based on many years of experience in the design and construction of low-pressure equipment for biopharmaceutical manufacturing and are particularly suitable for Sepharose High Performance resin.

The columns feature dynamic axial compression that uses solvent or air as the compression resin. In addition, dynamic axial piston pressure eliminates the formation of voids or channels in packed beds. Together with a specially designed flow distribution system fitted at both the piston and the bottom of the column, this ensures a uniform distribution of the mobile phase across the whole bed.
