Tips for installation and operation
Loosen the upper manifold position on the support rod and assemble the EL4-4PS elbow fittings at first very loosely clamped between the SCU cassette and the upper and lower manifold positions as shown. After all the gaskets on the elbows are properly seated, the clamps can be tightened from the top to bottom. Start operation with the permeate valve closed and the retentate valve open to calibrate recirculation cross flow rate. Open permeate side and partially close retentate valve to increase transmembrane pressure. Recirculation cross flow may be increased up to 1.44 lpm to adjust for increasing permeate flow and maintain cross flow effect.
