Downstream intensification

Fibro PrismA allows for high mAb binding capacities at very short residence times allowing for full lifetime utilization in a single batch. This allows for high productivity and flexible single use mAb capture especially for a multiproduct manufacturing.

Using MabSelect PrismA™ in periodic counter current (pcc) multi-column chromatography mode allows overloading of the resin in the loading phase. This enables continuous capture, higher binding capacity utilization, higher productivity, and lower buffer consumption.

Using short bed heights (10 cm) and high flow rate (2 min residence time) you can perform many cycles for each batch and thereby optimize resin lifetime utilization in the scenarios where it otherwise would be low, e.g., clinical production or infrequent commercial manufacturing.
