Which EPS power supply should I use for my application?

Which electrical parameter should I adjust to reduce heat production and smiling of my bands?
Lower the power setting (watts) to reduce heat production and "smiling" bands.
Why is the display on my EPS power supply flashing "1000" or "Lo V"?
This applies to models EPS 300, EPS 301, EPS 600, EPS 601, EPS 1000, EPS 1001, EPS 3500, EPS 3501, EPS 3500XL and EPS 3501XL. In North America, this means the line voltage switch on the back panel is set to "220-240V". Switch it back to "110-120V". (Line voltages in the U.S. are approximately 115V.)
Why is my power supply flashing "-PF-"?
-PF- means power failure. The program will continue when building power is resumed. The display switches between PF and the actual parameter value. The message -PF- is removed by pressing any key. No special action is needed.
