Using ÄKTA ready XL chromatography system – VR

About course

Learn how to confidently operate the ÄKTA ready™ XL single-use chromatography system through this virtual reality (VR) training. This immersive experience is designed to help you familiarize yourself with the system in a safe space where you can practice to grow muscle memory and confidence - without the need for real life equipment! 

What you'll learn: 

After completing the training, you'll be able to: 

- install a single-use flow kit 

- perform pH calibration 

- install a column 

 

 

Training structure: 

This self-paced VR experience includes two levels: 

- Practice: Guided operation. 

- Assessment: Perform tasks unassisted to earn a completion certificate. 

 

Why VR? 

Using a VR headset and controllers, you can interact with lifelike tools, products, and instructors—solo or with colleagues worldwide. This efficient method eliminates downtime and consumable use while accelerating learning (1). 

Recommended equipment: Meta Quest 3 headset with a wireless internet connection. You can cast the experience to a computer for shared viewing. 

Ready to explore? 

We estimate around 1.5 hours to complete the training the first time, but you can repeat it as many times as needed before taking the assessment. 

This course is also available in French. You can select the language once within the experience.
