In this free level 1 online course you will familiarize yourself with how Biacore surface plasmon resonance (SPR) systems can be used for measurement of kinetics and affinity of biomolecular interactions.
Ideally, you start this learning after completion of the online course Get started with Biacore SPR assays. Understanding the nature of interactions between molecules is essential for increased understanding of biological processes.
With this course, you will learn the basic theory behind kinetics and affinity. It also covers what to consider when setting up assays for kinetics and affinity, how to assess and evaluate your data and how to troubleshoot if needed.
The online course is divided into short topics, which can be accessed and completed individually. It will take you about 50 minutes to complete.
