This free online course explains how bioreactors work and the three main modes of operation.
Key learnings:
- How bioreactors provide a controlled environment for cell growth
- Configuration of a typical bioreactor
- Fundamentals of batch, fed-batch, and perfusion operations
You’ll also learn how the different modes affect cell growth. In addition, you’ll get an overview of the advantages of single-use bioreactor systems compared to stainless steel systems.
The course includes instructional images and videos. You can access and complete each lesson individually, with the full course taking around 12 minutes to complete.
