This free online course provides a high-level overview of the chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC) section of the common technical document (CTD).
Completing the CTD when you are seeking approval to trial a new drug in humans can be tricky, so after completing this course, you'll:
- Have an overview of what the CMC section of a regulatory filing entails
- Understand why it is necessary
- Prepare for your own process and hire experts to support
After diving into the details, you’ll see a video from an expert on the topic as well as find links to supporting resources. A glossary of some key regulatory terms, processes, acronyms, and their definitions has also been created to help you navigate unfamiliar terms.
This course includes instructional images and videos as well as a quiz to test your knowledge. You can access and complete each lesson individually, with the full course taking around 20 minutes to complete.
