About course

In this free online course, you will learn how to use the ÄKTA start™ chromatography system. You’ll get an overview of the system hardware, the UNICORN start™ software, and how to prepare your system for purification.

 

This course also covers maintenance instructions to help keep your system in good condition, along with practical tips and guidance on troubleshooting. This provides a great foundation for successful protein purification.

 

We’ve divided the online learning into several short topics, which you can access and complete individually whenever you have time. Each topic includes instructional images and video tutorials on protein purification using the ÄKTA start™ system. Altogether, the course takes about 1 hour to complete.

Certification
