About course

This interactive eLearning is an advanced course on the use of UNICORN™ software for method writing for cell therapy manufacturing. Using a UNICORN™ method for your cell expansion run enables you to deliver high-quality patient material through robust, repeatable, auditable, and automated operations. 

After the course, you'll will be able to:  

- Use the Method editor module to create and edit a method for cell expansion with the Xuri™ Cell Expansion System W25.

- Use advanced method features to control critical aspects of a cell expansion run  

- Run a customized method on the Xuri™ system. 

The course starts with a general overview of UNICORN software and methods, the benefits of a method, and how to use a method for a cell expansion run. This overview is followed by topics including method structures, text instructions, variables, and conditional programming. The examples shown are focused on cell and gene therapy. 

Throughout the course, you need to use UNICORN™ software as you follow along with the practical exercises embedded in the lessons. A free 60-days UNICORN license is included in the course registration if you don’t already have software access. We also recommended that you are familiar with cell expansion using the Xuri™ system.  

The full course is self-paced and will take you about 5 hours to complete. We kindly request you to complete the brief survey at the end of the program.
