Overview
The Antibody column package allows you to combine affinity chromatography with desalting for purification of human antibodies.
- Contains columns for a 1-step protocol using affinity chromatography, HiTrap MabSelect PrismA 1 × 1 mL and HiTrap Desalting 1 × 5 mL.
- HiTrap MabSelect PrismA column is prepacked with MabSelect PrismA resin for preparative purification of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies from serum and cell culture supernatant.
- HiTrap Desalting column is packed with Sephadex G-25 to give you quick pH neutralization of the eluted antibodies — 0.1 to 1.5 mL is the recommended sample loading volume.
- Includes instruction with guidance and tips to quickly get started.
The package includes a HiTrap column prepacked with MabSelect PrismA resin containing a protein A-derived ligand produced in E. coli. Fermentation and subsequent purification are performed in the absence of animal products. The ligand has been specially engineered to create an affinity resin with enhanced alkali and protease stability. The specificity of binding to the Fc region of IgG is similar to that of conventional Protein A and provides excellent purification in one step.
