Customized Chromatography Columns
BioProcess HPLC Columns are available in a wide range of dimensions with variable bed heights, providing a wide choice of bed volumes. All columns are pressure rated for operation at up to 100 bar and withstand temperatures up to 50 °C, which allows effective cleaning with warm water. The column design is based on many years of experience in the construction of high-pressure equipment for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, and is particularly suitable for processes involving reversed phase chromatography (RPC) resins.
The columns feature dynamic axial compression that uses liquid as the compression resin. In addition, dynamic axial adaptor pressure eliminates the formations of voids or channels in packed beds. A specially designed flow distribution system fitted at both the piston end and the bottom of the column ensures a uniform distribution of the mobile phase across the whole bed.
