PharmAssure™ hydrophobic vent filter is a 25 mm hydrophobic filter designed for sterile venting of vial air during the preparation of injectable drug solutions in healthcare pharmacies.
- Hydrophobic vent filter device designed for use in healthcare pharmacy.
- Supported 0.2 µm acrylic copolymer membrane which protects the user from exposure to potentially toxic aerosols.
- Hydrophobic barrier which allows only sterile air to pass through.
- Easy-to-use Luer connection which allows safe attachment to a needle and insertion through the rubber vial septum.
- Not made with natural rubber latex.
- Sterile and non-pyrogenic.
All product materials in contact with the fluid pathway meet the relevant sections of ISO 10993 series of standards and/or USP Biological Reactivity Testing in vivo <88>. This product is FDA 510(k) cleared and CE marked under the Medical Devices Directive (93/42/EEC).
