Posidyne™ ELD in-line IV filter is an air eliminating filter with positively charged 0.2 μm nylon membrane for up to 96- hour use, for the removal of inadvertent particulate debris, microbial contaminants and their associated endotoxins, and entrained air which may be found in solutions intended for intravenous administration.
- Positively charged 0.2 µm nylon Posidyne™ membrane for the removal of inadvertent particulate debris, microbial contaminants and their associated endotoxins.
- Dual hydrophobic PTFE vents for air elimination.
- Designed for single patient use up to 96 hours for clear fluid IV administration.
- Safe for use with pressure infusion equipment, i.e. infusion pumps.
- Microbore and standard bore, non-phthalate downstream tubing, with needleless and needled Y access available.
- Not made with natural rubber latex.
- Sterile and non-pyrogenic fluid pathway.
All product materials in contact with the fluid pathway meet the relevant sections of ISO 10993 series of standards and/or USP Biological Reactivity Testing in vivo <88>. These products are FDA 510(k) cleared.
