The column package allows you to combine affinity with size exclusion chromatography to obtain highly pure his-tagged proteins.
- Contains a HisTrap HP column 1 mL prepacked with Ni Sepharose High Performance (HP) affinity resin for preparative purification of his-tagged proteins.
- You achieve final purity with HiPrep 16/60 Sephacryl S-200 HR size exclusion chromatography column, which removes any remaining trace of impurities or closely related substances and imidazole.

Nickel ion chelating groups for efficient capture of your his-tagged proteins
Ni Sepharose HP affinity resin consists of highly cross-linked agarose beads to which a chelating group has been coupled. This chelating group is precharged with nickel, which selectively retains proteins with exposed histidine groups. Ni Sepharose HP has a binding capacity that exceeds 40 mg/mL, resulting in high protein recovery.
High final protein purity through size exclusion chromatography
The size exclusion column is prepacked with Sephacryl S-200 HR chromatography resin, which has a broad fractionation range of Mr 5 000 to ~ 250 000 for globular proteins. The high sample capacity of the HiPrep column lets you load samples of up to 5 mL.
