Overview
Versapor™ W/WA membrane sheets and rolls are our most robust hydrophilic materials for general liquid filtration applications. These are designed to be used as single-use membranes in applications requiring retention properties combined with high tensile strengths.
- They are ideal for prefiltration, when filtering viscous and difficult-to-filter solutions.
- Available in a range of pore sizes to match your retention and flow rate requirements.
- The non-woven internal support results in high tensile strength and dimensional stability allowing compatibility with different manufacturing processes.
- These hydrophilic acrylic copolymer membranes are cast on a non-woven nylon support providing excellent durability and handling features which minimize material scrap in device manufacturing.
- These bidirectional materials are compatible with the following sealing methods: adhesive, heat, insert molding, mechanical, radio frequency, and ultrasonic.
- Versapor™ W/WA membranes withstand gamma, UV, and ETO sterilization providing compatibility to your most stringent sterilization requirements and medical applications.
- The wide chemical and temperature compatibility and compliance with United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Biological Reactivity Tests, In Vivo <88> for biosafety ensures robust performance in critical venting applications.
