ÄKTA ready extended operator training program

About course

This training program provides comprehensive training for users of the ÄKTA ready™ extended single-use system. The curriculum takes a blended learning approach, shown to increase knowledge retention rates by up to 60% (1). By combining digital training methods and using modern adult learning techniques, the program ensures maximum training effectiveness. 

 

The curriculum spans from foundations to detailed instructions and hands-on experience through virtual reality (VR) training. 

After completion of this program, you will be able: 

- describe key steps of a manufacturing process 

- explain chromatography technology 

- describe and identify equipment key parts and functionality 

- perform, for example, pH calibration, flow kit installation, and column installation 

Save training hours 

Including VR in learning can reduce operator onboarding time by up to 50% (2), while on-demand digital components allow learning at their own convenience. 

In addition to VR operator training, the program includes a virtual process tour, interactive eLearnings, a product overview, and step-by-step instructional videos. It is designed to complement in-person training, helping ensure confidence and competence in a short time-frame. Considering repeating some of the training elements, we estimate around 18 hours to complete the program.
