Control your ÄKTA™ avant system in real time with UNICORN™ software. The software is easy to use, supports productivity and data security, and enables automation. You can create methods quickly, run unattended experiments, and evaluate results efficiently.
When scaling to larger ÄKTA™ systems, you’ll use the same UNICORN™ software.
Streamlined design of experiments (DoE) and mechanistic modeling workflows
DoE
The ÄKTA™ avant system is designed for execution of DoE experimental plans. Run unattended experiments (via inlet valves, column valves, fraction collector) and execute DoE experiments at different scales.
UNICORN™ DoE integrate extension enables you to automatically integrate your DoE experimental plans to UNICORN™ scouting runs. You’ll reduce the risk of errors and save time. You can do it from any commonly used DoE software available on the market.
Mechanistic modeling
The ÄKTA™ avant system is pre-characterized for mechanistic modeling: relevant system parameters are already included in GoSilico™ software. Furthermore, for calibration runs, data can be directly transferred from UNICORN™ software into GoSilico™ software, streamlining the modeling workflow.
Chromatography resins, adsorbers, columns, and capsules
We offer an extensive range of chromatography formats that can be used with the ÄKTA™ avant system. This includes:
- Prepacked columns, such as HiTrap™, HiScreen™, or Validation columns.
- Prepacked and precharacterized f(x) columns for mechanistic modeling.
- Empty columns, such as HiScale™ or AxiChrom™ columns.
- Fiber units: HiTrap Fibro™ and HiScreen Fibro™ units.
- Adsorber units, such as XT Acrodisc™ and Mustang™ XT capsules.
