The use of a permeate flow control is strongly recommended during upstream clarification of target material. 

A permeate control valve together with a pump for the flow rate is required for permeate flow control. Permeate flow control rate is dependent on the process flux (LMH) and surface area. For countries using 220 V power, power cords have to be ordered separately for the peristaltic pump above.

After use, store the cartridge with liquid inside using blank off cap, gasket and clamp on the feed and retentate ports.

Seal the permeate port with a short piece of tubing i.d. 9.5 mm, which is secured using cable tie wrap. The end is closed with snapper clamp or cable tie wrap.
