Overview
These 96-well filter plates are prefilled with MabSelect PrismA protein A chromatography resin that has been improved with an optimized high-flow agarose base matrix and a genetically engineered protein ligand. The protein A resin allows for future demands in monoclonal antibody purification to be met, including processing of many bispecific antibodies.
- Support high-throughput process development (HTPD) by allowing parallel screening of chromatographic conditions using a 96-well plate format.
- Allow fast and efficient evaluation of parameters for binding/wash/elution conditions, and resins benchmarking.
- Results show good correlation with data obtained by column chromatography.
- Each well is prefilled with a defined amount of MabSelect PrismA protein A chromatography resin.
- Can be used with centrifugation or vacuum, manually or in automated robotic systems.
- Assist software supports the PreDictor workflow from setup of experimental design to data evaluation.
The enhanced alkaline stability of MabSelect PrismA also provides opportunities for more robust mAb purification using periodic counter-current chromatography. The possibility for cleaning using 1 M NaOH increases bioburden control for continuous processes, which can be exposed to days or weeks of feed harvest.
