Overview
PreFlow™ membrane filter capsules, part of our Pall filtration portfolio, provide protection for sterilizing-grade filters during the processing of biological fluids. The fixed-pore structure and proprietary resin-bonded glass-fiber composite media provides high capacity for fine contaminants, resulting in extended service life.
- Fixed core construction.
- Resistant to contaminant unloading.
- Meet USP biological reactivity, in vivo, for Class VI – 121°C plastic
- Effective and reliable protection of final filters, including 0.2 μm and 0.1 μm sterilizing grade, providing higher throughputs, and longer filter life.

PreFlow™ resin-bonded glass fiber filter capsules have been designed for small volume production and scale-up evaluation. The media provide bioburden reduction, clarification, and prefiltration for sterilizing-grade filters when processing biological fluids. The fixed pore structure and proprietary resin-bonded glass fiber composite media provide exceptional capacity for fine contaminants and long service life.
About Kleenpak™ Nova capsules
Kleenpak™ Nova capsules are especially suited to pilot and process scale applications. They can be either autoclaved or sterilized by gamma irradiation and can be supplied as part of presterilized processing systems such as a filter/tubing/bag set. The capsules are available with either in-line or T-style configurations. The T-style configuration is ideal for manifolding multiple filters in series or in parallel configurations.
