GST Detection Module is used for identification of GST fusion proteins using either a biochemical or immunological assay.
- GST Detection Module enables sensitive detection of GSTtagged proteins and contains components
- For detection using either a biochemical assay where glutathione and 1-chloro-2-4-dititrobenzene (CDNB) serve as substrates for GST to yield a yellow product detectable at 340 nm, or an immunoassay.
- GST Detection Module contains components sufficient for 50 detection reactions using both assays, and an instruction booklet.
In the biochemical assay, glutathione and 1-chloro-2-4-dinitrobenzene (CDNB) serve as substrates for GST to yield a yellow product detectable at 340 nm (1). An affinity-purified goat anti-GST polyclonal antibody suitable for Western blots is used in the immunoassay. The GST Detection Module contains sufficient components for 50 detection reactions using either assay: 1-chloro-2-4-dinitrobenzene, Glutathione, Anti-GST Antibody (see Anti-GST Antibody), and instruction booklet.
