His SpinTrap TALON® is a single-use column for rapid screening with small samples of histidine-tagged proteins.
- Suitable for purification of multiple samples in parallel, such as screening.
- Convenient, ready-to-use single-use spin column, prepacked with 100 μL TALON® Superflow™ cobalt-IMAC (immobilized metal affinity chromatography) resin offering a different selectivity compared to nickel-charged resins.
- With a microcentrifuge, one run takes about 10 minutes.
His SpinTrap TALON® is designed for high purity, small-scale purification and screening of histidine-tagged proteins from clarified cell lysates. His SpinTrap TALON® columns are used together with a standard microcentrifuge and purification takes approximately 10 minutes. The columns make parallel preparations of few or many small-scale cell lysates quick and easy. Prepacked columns enable highly reproducible column to column purification and yield, with RSD < 6%. Leakage of cobalt ions from TALON® Superflow™ resin is negligible.
