Overview
Each cartridge is powered by NxGen™ technology, an advanced mixing architecture that integrates toroidal structures within the flow path to rapidly and gently fold two fluids together, enabling controlled and highly reproducible mixing conditions. By using a shared NxGen™ mixer geometry across NanoAssemblr™ systems and scales, critical process parameters (CPPs) can be transferred directly, accelerating development while reducing scale-up risk.

Flexible cartridge use, built for clinical readiness
All NxGen™ cartridges are validated for single use. As of September 2025, existing customers may request an Ignite system software upgrade that enables the reuse of NxGen™, NxGen™ 500, and NxGen™ scale-ready cartridges. All new NanoAssemblr™ Ignite and Ignite+ systems ship with this functionality enabled.
The new NxGen™ scale-ready cartridge 12 L/h is a gamma irradiated, animal origin-free (AOF), and fully traceable cartridge that supports regulatory and clinical readiness. Designed with GMP in mind, it helps you maintain the same workflow on the Ignite+ system, reducing risk and minimizing waste as your program advances. NanoAssemblr™ Ignite platform
The NanoAssemblr™ Ignite system formulates at the bench scale with volumes of up to 20 mL and flow rates of up to 20 mL/min.
The NanoAssemblr™ Ignite+ system extends these capabilities with increased throughput and flexibility, enabling formulation of up to 60 mL at flow rates of up to 200 mL/min (12 L/h). This supports early process development while reducing scale-up risk of large-scale systems using simple, low-volume workflows. When paired with the NxGen™ scale-ready cartridge 12 L/h, the Ignite+ system also supports small-scale clinical manufacturing, allowing the same workflow to be used across development stages for a more streamlined transition and reduced development risk.
