Overview
- Compatible with prevalent systemic heat and chemical disinfection methods, seamlessly complementing standard sanitation protocols for comprehensive cleanliness
- Works seamlessly with common water disinfection methods and surface disinfectants
- Barrier against waterborne contaminants including Legionella spp. and Pseudomonas spp. - Shields against potential exposure to water-based impurities for enhanced safety
- Double-layer filtration validated for sterilizing-grade water, featuring an integrated pre-filter to boost effectiveness
- Achieves 99.99% bacteriostatic efficacy against Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- Utilizes bacteriostatic additives throughout the housing material to mitigate retrograde contamination risks on the surface
Pall-Aquasafe™ shower filters and QPoint™ shower filters and filter capsules provide 0.2 um sterilizing-grade filtered water at the Point- of-Use for up to 31 days (Pall-Aquasafe) or 62 days (QPoint) where water quality allows. The filters have been validated according to ASTM F838 and demonstrated complete retention as per FDA requirements. The high technology integrated prefiltration layer delivers exceptional particulate trapping capacity with good flow rates, and protects the sterilizing-grade membranes, enabling long performance life. The shower filters retain fungi, protozoa and bacteria such as Legionella spp., Pseudomonas spp., non-tuberculous mycobacteria and Escherichia coli.
A combination of technologies within the filters help to minimize the risk of retrograde contamination on the filter’s surface. The ergonomic shower handles will fit to all standard shower hoses or wall mounted installations.
