Allegro™ 50 L single-use mixer biocontainer bag includes some unique design features that significantly improve the ease of use and robustness of the single-use system while enabling efficient mixing of a wide range of solutions and high product recovery.

The materials of construction of the Allegro biocontainers meet:
- Biological reactivity in vivo for Class VI - 50° C Plastics
- USP 87 (cytotoxicity)
- ISO 10993 (biological compatibility)
- USP 661 Physicochemical tests for plastics
- European Pharmacopoeia (Section 3.1.5)
- Japanese Pharmacopoeia (Section 61 Part 1)
- European directive 85/572/EEC for food contact plastic materials
The biocontainter bags contain four inlet ports and two (2) outlet ports -- One inlet and one outlet port on the top of the biocontainer for controlling the air flow to and from the biocontainer, three (3) additional inlet ports on the top of the biocontainer are for acid/base addition and initial fluid filling, and the last outlet port is for fluid draining.
